Welcome to The 37 th International Korea- Japan Seminar on Ceramics

All the ceramists in Korea, Japan and all over the world!
We are pleased to invite you to this seminar.

Since the first Korea-Japan New Ceramics Seminar was held in 1984, it has already celebrated its 37th anniversary this year (2023). Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, it has been postponed for three years.
So I think this fall meeting will be more meaningful and important.
I think the existence of the Korea-Japan International Ceramic Seminar, which has played a major role in academic exchanges in the field of ceramics not only in Korea and Japan, but all over the world, is a great pride and great asset for the ceramics of both countries.

As ceramic materials are fused with various materials, they are expanding their application as core materials for future industries I think international technology exchange and information exchange are more necessary to respond to rapid industrial development

We hope that the 37th meeting will further revitalize the Korea-Japan International Ceramic Seminar and serve as an opportunity to play a leading role in the development of ceramic technology.
We wish you good health and prosperity, and we are waiting for you at Gonjiam Resort, which is located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, a city of ceramic history and culture.
